SPORT AND FUN WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN THE 33° NATIONAL AISD CONGRESS:

 “THE 2ND GOLF CUP OF PAOLO PROCACCI FUNDATION”

The expectation for the upcoming 33° NATIONAL  AISD (Italian Association for the Study of pain) CONGRESS, “New frontiers in pain medicine”  (Florence – May 23/25 2010), is growing .

It will be exciting for participants to the Congress to be in Florence, and to take part to the Congress Opening Ceremony at the Salone dei Cinquecento, the most ancient and most important artistic hall of Palazzo Vecchio, the town hall of Florence. In the hall  where Leonardo and Michelangelo painted their frescoes, Professor Giorgio Bordin will inaugurate the Congress with his Lecture Pain and Figurative Art.

But according to Congress tradition, before culture and art comes mental and physical health!

So starting from Sunday 23^rd from 10.00, all participants to the Congress will be invited to attend the Golf Tournament “2^nd GOLF CUP FONDAZIONE PAOLO PROCACCI”, which will take place at the “Parco di Firenze Golf Cup”.

Each team will be composed by two players, an handicap player and a “neophyte” in golf: the neophyte needs to be the one who closes the hole! All the players will have t-shirts and gadgets. The best three couples in each categories will be rewarded and there will be a prize for first and second couple “Nearest to the Pin” too.

The ceremony’s godmother will be the Sky journalist Paola Saluzzi: the prizes will be delivered in Salone dei Cinquecento on Sunday from 7.00 p.m.

Please take note that the Congress offers the possibility to take part also to the single Congress day, dedicated to the specific professional category: paediatricians, general pratictioners, neurologists and others (ECM accreditation)
